Work Desk (Hubly 2.0)

I've completed all the tasks but it isn't obvious how to "complete" the workflow
Louis Retief
Sara Stanich: This is an important piece that we are moving into development very quickly. Right now you can only complete workflows from the old client card interface unless. We will be updating this as soon as possible

Expand and collapse all button for workflow types-- right now you have to manually collapse each workflow type and it makes it difficult to navigate between many different workflows.
Louis Retief
Abigail Happ: Hi Abigail this is an awesome piece of feedback. Will include this in further improvement scope.

Sort and filter features would be hugely helpful.
Louis Retief
Abigail Happ: Hi Abigail, we have recieved a number of comments regarding filters. We are working through all the requests. Would you mind expanding on some filter and sort features you would like?

On the old client cards you had an option to add a note that would stay with that client until you chose to remove. It was the note spot at the very top of the client card- not the comments. I am not seeing those come over. Is this a Beta item or will these not be coming over?
Louis Retief
Lindsy Ludewig: This is great piece of feedback and in our backlog to migrate all of the comments at the top of client card and to create pinned notes for them. Learn more about pinned notes here: https://help.myhubly.com/en/articles/15686137-how-context-based-notes-work
Let me know if you have feedback or comments on this before migration effort on our end :D

It would be extremely helpful for there to be filter or option in the work desk to see tasks that do not have a due date but are assigned to you as next in the workflow.

want ability to sort the client queue by next or last meeting date, number of tasks or workflows open.
Louis Retief
Sarah Ponder: We've been working through a few ideas for this and have received some interesting feedback from customers.
Rather than simply adding additional filters and sort options, the stronger approach may actually be introducing an "Advisor View" alongside the existing "Back-Office View".
This is still a very rough concept, but the Advisor View would fundamentally change how the queue is organized. Instead of grouping work primarily by workflow, it would prioritize clients using a recency-based score that considers signals such as:
Last meeting date
Note recency
Recent task/workflow completion
Workflow age
The goal is to surface the clients that are most actively being serviced and most likely to require the advisor's attention, rather than asking advisors to search across multiple workflow groups.
Operational teams naturally think in workflows, while advisors tend to think in clients. This approach acknowledges those different mental models instead of trying to solve both with additional sorting and filtering options.
This is still early thinking, so I'm curious to hear yours thoughts. Do you think this role-based approach provides more value than simply expanding the existing queue with additional filters and sort options?

Is there a way to complete the workflow from the client page that comes up when you click a task from the working session? I cannot find a way to complete the work flow, and I can see this leading to a good amount of work flows being left open when they are completed.
A
Abigail Happ
Dani Dettenmayer I agree with this. Also, there is no way to begin the Conditional Next workflow.
Louis Retief
Dani Dettenmayer: Thank you for this feedback, this is an important piece that we are moving into development. Right now you can only complete workflows from the old client card interface. We will be updating this as soon as possible.

We noticed that there is currently no option to add notes or comments. Will a comment field be included in the new Work Desk or Client Card? This feature has been very valuable for our team to document updates as we move through workflows. Additionally, we’re unable to make changes to the task detail section—will this be updated as well? We rely on that area as part of our process
Louis Retief
Cheree Harrington: Hi Cheree, as mentioned in original post on beta release this is next up on our develop roadmap and will 100% be included. See copy and paste below:
What’s coming next:
Up Next
-->Task creation parity with the old Client Card
-->Note creation parity with the old Client Card + pinned notes
Future (no particular order)
-->Deterministic AI assistance for the Client Queue (sort, filter, organize)
-->Action-oriented AI assistance (reassign, reschedule, complete)
-->Send emails directly from Work Desk
-->Tags and mentions for team members in notes
-->Full client audit history (task deleted, reassigned, rules triggered, etc.)
-->Document management (Dropbox, Google Drive integrations, etc.)

Hi Louis: Can we still enroll? If we can please enroll our team, please.

Thank you for enrolling our small team in the beta program. I'm excited to try all the new features! In reviewing it this morning, one of the first things I'm noticing is that I do not see where I can filter the view for my open tasks only. In the current dashboard, our team has view for each team members open tasks. In the beta version I see everyone's tasks mixed in with mine. Is there a way to filter it to only see open tasks that are currently assigned to me?
Louis Retief
Christie Jackson: Hi Christie thanks for your comment on the beta. When you click the "Start Work Session" beta button in your hub. The client que will only display your open tasks or tasks assigned to a role that you are part of. Can you elaborate further by what you mean? Alternatively, I would be happy to schedule a feedback call: https://meetings.hubspot.com/louis29/customer-conversation

Louis Retief Yes, I apologize for the confusion. To clarify, yes, I see all of my tasks, but many of them I am still waiting on another team member to complete a task before me, therefore I do not consider those tasks to be on my 'open tasks' for the day (since I cannot proceed until another team member completes their tasks). On the original dashboard I have the ability to filter it by "Only show workflows where the next task is assigned to me". Is there a way to do that in the new beta version?
Louis Retief
Christie Jackson: We reviewed this as a team. This is fantastic feedback, we are going to try to get someone out quick for this given the value it would provide. Appreciate your feedback!
Louis Retief
Christie Jackson: Hi Christie, we have pushed this into production. The que will now automatically only show workflows where the next task is assigned to you :D

Louis Retief Awesome! This is so helpful, and thank you for the quick response!
